Accepting These Terms

By accessing or using uniheat.us (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Site.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

Section 02

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date at the top of this page will change. Orders already placed are governed by the Terms in effect when you placed them. Please check back from time to time.

Section 03

Your Account

Some features require an account. Keep your information accurate and your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

Section 04

Orders and Payment

• All orders are subject to our acceptance and to product availability. Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale.
• Prices are as shown at checkout. If a price, description, or availability is listed in error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full rather than honor the error. We will contact you if that happens.
• Payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. UniHeat US does not store your full card details.
• You are responsible for any sales tax or duties that apply to your order.

Section 05

Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping methods, costs, and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees — carrier delays happen, particularly in winter.
• Risk of loss and title pass to you when the order is delivered to the address you provided.
• If your order arrives damaged, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and keep the product and packaging. See Section 06.

Section 06

Returns and Refunds

Our full Return Policy governs returns and is part of these Terms. In summary:

• Email us before returning anything. We do not process returns without prior approval.
• New, unused, unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. You pay return shipping; we charge no restocking fee.
• Opened or activated heat packs cannot be returned. The packs begin heating as soon as they leave the airtight wrapper.
• Damage in transit must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and may require carrier inspection.
• Returns require an RMA number, valid for 14 days from approval.
• Refunds go to your original payment method. Allow up to four weeks from the day you ship the return.

We only handle returns for products bought directly from uniheat.us. If you bought from another retailer or marketplace, that seller handles your return.

Section 07

Product Use and Safety

UniHeat warmers are air-activated and generate sustained heat for many hours once opened. Follow the instructions printed on the product and observe these basics:

• Avoid direct or prolonged contact with skin. The packs can cause burns.
• Do not place a pack in an airtight container. The heating reaction needs oxygen, and sealing it off reduces performance.
• Do not open, puncture, or attempt to reuse a spent pack, and do not allow contents to be swallowed.
• Keep packs away from children and pets, both before and after use.
• When shipping live animals, do not let a pack sit in direct contact with the animal or its container.

Using the product in a way the instructions do not describe is at your own risk.

Section 08

Uses Other Than Shipping

Customers use UniHeat packs for camping, vehicle emergency kits, outdoor work, and other cold-weather situations. These products are designed for insulated shipping applications, and we describe those other uses as a convenience, not as a recommendation for any particular situation.

They are not medical devices, not survival equipment, and not a substitute for adequate shelter, clothing, or emergency services. Do not rely on them as your only source of warmth in a genuine emergency.

Section 09

Our Role as a Distributor

UniHeat US is a distributor and reseller of UniHeat air-activated shipping warmers. We are not the manufacturer and we do not own the UniHeat brand. Products are supplied as we receive them from the manufacturer.

How a heat pack performs in your shipment depends on things we have no control over: box size and insulation, void fill and airflow, where the pack sits in the package, transit time, carrier routing and delays, and the weather along the route. Published duration and temperature figures describe pack performance under stated test conditions. They are not a guarantee of any particular result for your shipment.

UniHeat US is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, the goods you ship — including live animals, plants, perishables, and other temperature-sensitive products — or for any related costs. If you are shipping something valuable or irreplaceable, test your packaging setup before peak season and insure the shipment.

None of this changes Section 06. If we send the wrong product, or a pack is defective, we will make it right.

Section 10

Intellectual Property

The original text, photographs, guides, reference tables, and other content we publish on this Site are owned by UniHeat US or used under license, and are protected by copyright. Please do not copy or republish them without permission.

The UniHeat name, logo, and product trade dress are the property of the manufacturer of UniHeat shipping warmers. UniHeat US uses them as an authorized distributor. Nothing on this Site gives you any right to use those marks.

Where a specific page states that its content is published under a Creative Commons license, those license terms apply to that content instead.

Section 11

Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the Site. That includes distributing malware, attempting unauthorized access to our systems or another user’s account, scraping at a volume that degrades service, interfering with the Site’s operation, or infringing anyone’s rights. We may suspend access for conduct of this kind.

Section 12

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its educational content are provided as is. We work to keep our shipping guidance accurate, but we do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any guidance will suit your particular shipment.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose in relation to the Site and its content.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited or waived under applicable law, including under the California Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. Your right to a refund on defective or incorrectly shipped product under Section 06 is unaffected.

Section 13

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UniHeat US is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or the products — including loss of the goods you ship, lost profits, or replacement costs.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Section 14

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Talk to us first. Most problems are quicker to fix by email than by anything formal. Write to us at the address below and give us a fair chance to sort it out.

If we cannot resolve it, any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both of us consent to that venue. Either of us may still bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.

Section 15

General

• Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Return Policy and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Site and your orders.
• No waiver. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.
