How UniHeat US Handles Your Information

This policy explains what we collect when you visit or buy from uniheat.us, how we use it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

Last updated: August 26, 2026

Section 01

Information We Collect

Collected Automatically

Device Information

Browser type, IP address, time zone, pages viewed, referring site, and how you interact with the Site. Gathered through cookies, server log files, and similar technologies.

Provided at Checkout

Order Information

Your name, billing and shipping address, payment details, email address, and phone number — the information needed to process and deliver an order.

Provided by You

Marketing Information

Your email address, optional first name, and any survey responses you choose to give when you subscribe to our newsletter.

Section 02

How We Use Your Information

  • Process orders, confirm payment, and arrange shipping.
  • Send transactional messages — order confirmations, shipping notifications, delivery updates, and customer support replies.
  • Screen orders for fraud and assess risk.
  • Understand how the Site is used, so we can improve it.
  • Send cold-weather shipping guidance, seasonal reminders, and product updates — only if you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link at the bottom of that email, or by emailing us.

Section 03

Who We Share It With

We share information with service providers who help us run the store. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job, and is bound to handle it confidentially.

  • BigCommerce — hosts our online store and processes orders.
  • Payment processors — handle card transactions. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • ShipStation and shipping carriers — fulfill and deliver your order, and send tracking updates.
  • Mailchimp — sends our newsletter and manages subscriptions.
  • Smile.io — runs our rewards and referral program.
  • Google Analytics — reports how visitors use the Site. You can opt out at Google’s opt-out page.

We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

Section 04

Cookies and Tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar tools to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and measure how the Site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Site — including checkout — may not work correctly if you do.

Section 05

How Long We Keep It

We keep order information for as long as we need it for our records, tax and accounting obligations, and customer support — or until you ask us to delete it. Device information is kept for analysis and Site improvement. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Section 06

How We Protect It

The Site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and payment details are handled by PCI-compliant payment processors rather than stored by us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Section 07

Your Rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in Europe and the CCPA/CPRA in California — you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you, or ask for a copy
  • Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Ask us to limit how we process it
  • Object to marketing or analytics tracking
  • Not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights

To make a request, email us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before we can act on it.

If you are in the European Economic Area, note that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where we operate.

Section 08

Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Section 09

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. Updates take effect when posted, and the date at the top of this page will change. Please check back from time to time.

Section 10

Questions About This Policy?

Email us to ask about anything on this page, or to exercise any of the rights described above. We will get back to you.
